Q. My child can’t write hiragana or katakana at all. Is that okay?

A. Absolutely.
We begin by teaching each character one by one, slowly and carefully, so your child can learn step-by-step with confidence.

A. Yes.
All lessons are conducted in Japanese, but we group students based on their understanding level, so your child will be placed in a class that suits their ability.

A. That’s very common.
Your child has Japanese comprehension but may not yet have the vocabulary or confidence to express themselves in Japanese. Since they know that you understand English, they default to what’s easier. We recommend consistently speaking only Japanese with your child at home to reinforce their language habits.

A. No problem.
We place students based on ability, not age or grade level.
Your child can repeat a level or advance early as needed. It’s also possible to attend multiple levels simultaneously—for example, both 2nd and 3rd grade classes.

A. Yes.
We accept enrollments and withdrawals year-round.
If you need to take a long break, we allow a leave of absence up to one month while maintaining enrollment status.
(Please notify us at least one month in advance for any withdrawals or long absences.)
